St Austell is a pleasant, small market town at the centre of the Cornish Riviera, just a mile or so from the coast. The nearest coastal attraction is Charlestown, a lovely Georgian harbour village with several pubs and cafes, 2 smallish beaches, a Shipwreck & Heritage Centre and a fleet of Square-rigged sailing ships. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Pine Lodge and the Eden Project provide a variety of features for those interested in gardening and horticulture. Being central in Cornwall, St Austell is also a good base for touring - you can reach most places, Far West or up in the North of Cornwall, within an hour or so.
Gwynn Avon Nans is located on the southern fringe of St Austell's town centre, just a few minutes walk to the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. There is a 5-screen Cinema in the town.
Gwynn Avon Nans offers 2 spacious en suite rooms, 1 double and 1 double or family(2+1) both with colour television and tea & coffee making facilities. Each has a lovely, spacious shower room.
Children of 8 years and over are most welcome.
