Opening details: Open All Year
Bray Cottage is situated on the eastern side of St Austell, just a short drive to the coast at Charlestown or Carlyon Bay. The cottage provides comfortable accommodation for up to 5 people. Nearby is the popular Carlyon Arms which has a good reputation for its food and beers. The Eden Project is only a short drive - about 10 minutes - and there are many other attractions within a half-an-hour's drive.
The courtyard entrance leads to the front door which opens into the dining area. On the left-hand side is the lounge which has a blue 5-piece lounge suite, terracotta bed-settee and chair, coffee table, colour television etc. Off the dining room is the newly refurbished kitchen, equipped with microwave, gas cooker, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, cream country dinner service and utensils etc for your holiday use.
The stairs lead from the dining room to a large landing, the bathroom and 3 bedrooms - 1 Double with wooden bedstead, pine wardrobe and bedside tables, 1 Twin with wooden bedsteads, pine wardrobe, chest of drawers and side tables, and 1 Single bedroom with divan bed, pine wardrobe and bedside table. The tiled bathroom has a new bathroom suite with shower. Good quality bed linen and towels are provided for your stay.
There are smoke detectors in each room. The new boiler has a current Gas Inspection Certificate
Outside, the garden has soft outside lighting for the warm summer evenings, a new, quality wooden table & chairs, a parasol and a barbecue and the necessary equipment. Smoking is permitted outside and an ashtray is provided
If a booking is taken for a fortnight then a housekeeper will change the bedlinen & towels and clean the house after the first week
