Set in 1½ acres of gardens and woodland, Heather Cottage enjoys superb views of the Pentewan valley as it winds its way down to the sea. The cottage is situated in an elevated, yet sheltered position - a south-facing sun trap !
The valley offers woodland walks and bridle paths, right on our doorstep. It's a gentle walk down to Pentewan's wide, sandy beach, or up the old carriage drive to the Lost Gardens of Heligan and on down to Mevagissey. Up the valley, lies the pleasant town of St Austell with its medieval parish church and 18th Century Market House. The Eden Project is 4miles away, an easy 10-15 minutes drive.
The cottage offers a double room with private bathroom and an adjacent twin room which can be used together by family or friends on holiday together.
In addition, one of the cottage's adjoining outbuildings has recently been converted to offer an extremely comfortable and private double en suite room. This is also available as a self-catering unit on a weekly basis.
