description

Opening details: Easter to October

Directions and Map Map/Directions

Powderham is situated in a sheltered and secluded valley, surrounded by tranquil delightful countryside but within 400 metres of the A390 leading to St. Austell bay and the favoured south coast beaches noted for their safe bathing, yet only half an hour from the north coast. It also offers easy access to many roads and is an ideal base for touring Cornwall.

It is above all, a park for families and couples and those who do not want the noise and intrusion of a clubhouse, bar or live entertainment which we believe are detrimental to the more discerning who prefer to stay in natural surroundings with the absence of commercialism and holiday camp atmosphere.

The park has been thoughtfully landscaped and extensively planted with trees and shrubs in order to provide shelter and seclusion for the spacious touring and camping areas. The individual pitches are large and positioned on the periphery of several paddocks, leaving the central parts open - there is no overcrowding.

There is ample room in which children may roam and play safety, our acclaimed adventure playground will keep them amused for hours. This is a family run concern and being resident we are available for any queries you may have.

Powderham is recommended by ADAC, ANWB and many other organisations.
