Character cottage in the Georgian port of Charlestown, once a working china-clay exporting harbour now the tranquil home of the Square Sail fleet of square-rigged sailing vessels. The ships, and the harbour at Charlestown, are often used in filming for television and cinema.
There are good pubs, restaurants and cafes within walking distance, choose from a range of lovely food ! Charlestown is just a couple of miles from the Eden Project and makes an ideal base for visiting the Cornish Riviera and touring all of Cornwall.
Poppy Cottage offers very spacious accommodation with 2 bedrooms; one large double bedroom with sitting area which also has a put-up bed, the other bedroom has twin beds. On the same floor, the bathroom has both a bath and shower. On the ground floor, there is a large lounge / diner with wood burning stove, colour television, video & DVD player and a dining table suitable for six people.
There is a good-sized cloakroom with toilet and plenty of storage space. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine. The sunny garden, bordered by a stream, has a patio with garden furniture and barbecue. There is off-road car parking right by Poppy Cottage
