Quillet Cottage is a pretty, terraced cottage built around 1870 and totally refurbished by its present owners.
Pentewan is a pretty coastal village and the cottage is just 2 minutes walk from the safe, sandy beach. And only 50 'staggers' when coming back later on from the 'Ship Inn' ! As well as the pub, there is a good restaurant - The School House, a canoe hire depot, a gift shop, a water sports supplies and a bike hire depot on the Pentewan Valley Trail which leads up the valley to St Austell or off to the Lost Gardens of Heligan and then on to Mevagissey.
The accommodation in the cottage comprises; front entrance leading into a lounge with colour television - basic Sky satellite programs - plus DVD & Video plus Radio & CD player. The next room is the kitchen / diner with all facilities to provide for up to 4 people. Stairs lead to the 1st floor from the entrance way. The first floor has a double bedroom to the front and a twin bedded room at the rear. The bathroom has both bath and shower. In the rear garden, there is a utility room with washer and tumble dryer. Car Parking for 2 cars is about 50 yards further along the road and there is also a very pleasant patio there, overlooking the river.
