Once the village cobbler's shop, this attractive cottage is just a few minutes from the unspoilt 18th Century harbour that has featured in so many film and television dramas. The sight of the square-rigged sailing ships immediately evokes memories of a bygone era.
Near to the cottage is the Shipwreck & Heritage Centre, well worth a visit, and the village has several restaurants, pubs, cafes and gift shops all within a short walk.
The property comprises :
A ground floor lounge with fitted kitchette - the lounge has a 2-seater leather settee and colour Freeview television with DVD. The kitchenette has a dining/breakfast table, an oven, microwave oven, toaster, kettle etc china, utensils & glassware for 2 people.
Stairs lead to the first floor which has a Double bedroom and shower room with shower, toilet, heated towel rail and basin. There is also a Washer/Dryer machine in the shower room.
All bed linen and towels are provided. You only need to bring some beach towels with you.
The cottage is heated with a storage heater plus an electric coal-effect fire in the lounge and other electric heating on the first floor. All fuel costs are included in the rates.
Although there is no garden, one can linger and enjoy the scene around the harbour or stroll along the coastal footpath. The Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the coastal towns of Mevagissey & Fowey are within a short drive.
Roadside parking is available near to Cobblers Cottage.
